They reached the playground, she had to run some errand so she told him to wait here. He told her that he'll look around.

There were some people playing cricket nearby in another part of the ground. There were others playing badminton.
He found some people to talk to, there was a girl in particular. She seemed quiet, different from the most crowd around here. He sat beside her, not intending to talk or observe her. She asked him if he was lost and he told her he was not.
His friend was done with her work and now she wanted to show him around as she had promised; she was looking for him.
"There you are, I've been looking for you all over." She said.
"Uh, I was just..looking" He said.
"I know" She said and smiled.
She signaled him to stay beside her so he did. They walked in silence for a few moments and then as usual she began to talk.
"Did you find anything special yet?" She asked, a general question by her standards and a very personal one by his.
"No." He said, squirming.
